Bio

Steph Swenson: Born in Montreal Quebec Steph discovered her passion for music at an early age. As a teenager she cut her teeth performing in cover bands and teaching in music studios between B.C. and Alberta. Steph has performed in bands and as a solo artist showcasing her versatility and musicality, blending influences from blues, funk, jazz and fusion that reflects her love for experimentation. Currently she’s honing her songwriting skills and diving deep into the world of audio engineering. Steph enjoys kayaking and spending time in nature.

Michael Bray:Michael began studying drums and percussion at a young age by getting involved with the regional marching band and local music school, known for it’s “school of rock”.  Eventually, Michael entered the live music scene in Toronto, Ontario playing mostly funk, R&B, rock and roll. His later studies in Latin music and jazz merged with his earlier influences, adding a unique energy to his performances. From the early 90’s onwards, Michael now calls Vancouver home.  He is currently engaged in and co-writing with The Steph Swenson band and looks forward to many performances and touring.
